We photograph all AirPortr + Bag Check-In bags when picked up and before they are handed over to British Airways so we are confident of the condition throughout delivery. In the unlikely and unfortunate event that your luggage is damaged in AirPortr’s care, AirPortr will endeavour to contact you and make you aware.
As part of the AirPortr service you get inclusive cover of up to £10,000 per booking so you will be reimbursed for the value of the damaged items. Please note that any bookings over the value of £1000 need to be declared to AirPortr prior to pick up. If you discover your bags are damaged, simply call AirPortr on +44 (0) 203 384 6677 or send an email and they will investigate the cause. British Airways baggage liability remains the same as governed by the Montreal & Warsaw conventions.
