You can use the service if you’re travelling with one of our Partner Airlines from London and catching a connecting flight later in your journey. The following link will display list of current Airline Partners:
Whilst we can tag your bags to your final destination, you may be asked to collect your bags at the connecting airport and pass through customs before resubmitting them using the bag drop for your next flight.
This differs depending on location but you’ll be instructed to do so when you land if this is the case.
Connecting Flights; via USA and South Africa
When travelling through USA / S.Africa specifically, you will always need to collect your luggage from the first carousel (at the transit airport) due to local customs regulations. Then self-transfer using the baggage drop or check-in desk to ensure your bags travel with you.
Codeshare Connecting Flights
If your bags have been checked in for a flight departing LHR, LGW or Luton, but your connecting flight is with codeshare or non-partner airline; you will always need to collect your baggage at the transit airport and complete the check-in process for your next flight (unless otherwise advised by airline staff).
