We’ve developed our services alongside the Civil Aviation Authority, British Airways, American Airlines, Virgin Airways, Finnair, Cathay Pacific and Easy Jet, to ensure our processes meet aviation security regulations and to give you peace of mind every step of the way.
Sealed and secured
All bags are sealed with tamper aware technology upon collection and remain sealed until they are handed to British Airways for your flight. Vehicles also remain locked at all times when in service and under CCTV surveillance during loading at our warehouses.
All luggage is pre-screened to Level 3 Hold Baggage Screening standard (the same standard used in the airport) before arriving at the airport to ensure they don’t contain any prohibited items or dangerous goods. They are scanned again upon delivery to the airport so AirPortr is an additional level of security when you travel.
Fully vetted staff
All drivers are subject to the same strict interview processes and criminal background checks as airport staff so you can be reassured your bags are in safe hands.
Official airport partner
We are an official partner of Heathrow, Gatwick & Luton airports so you don’t need to worry about any security implications of using the service to deliver your luggage.
If using Bag Check In, we confirm Identification and Flight details at the time of pickup by scanning your boarding pass. We also scan your passport at the door to authenticate your identity.
A secure platform
We encrypt all of your information, which you can manage by logging into your account. We never share any data for commercial reasons.
