When we collect your luggage for check-in at the airport, our role is completed at the point when your luggage is delivered to the airport and physically handed over to your airline and checked in for your departure flight.
We’ll send you the electronic bag tag numbers (by SMS and email) for each checked item to confirm the transfer of the luggage to the airline which is then responsible for loading/ unloading the plane before departure and after your flight lands.
Sometimes Airlines and Airports can experience delays when transferring luggage.
We advise if your bags are not on the carousel upon your arrival, passengers should create a lost bag report as soon as possible:
You'll need to contact your Airline either Online, by phone or in person when you arrive at the destination airport.
-
Report the lost luggage to your Airline.
-
The Airline will Issue a lost baggage report number, with access to updates and then initiate an internal search to track, locate and forward your luggage to you.
We are aware of the impact that delays can have on passenger journeys and we apologise for any inconvenience.
We are also working to improve our integration with Partner Airlines and Airport Baggage handlers to provide clearer insight to provide better support for our customers with this type of issue in the future.
Your feedback is important as we continue to improve Airportr services, please feel free to contact our team on live chat or email if you require any further information or assistance, for urgent enquiries you can request on of our support team to provide a callback, we'll be happy to help.
