When you book our departures service and we check-in your bags for you, our role is completed once we hand your bags over to your airline ready for your flight. After this point, your bags becomes the responsibility of your airline.
Once we've checked your bags in, we'll send you the electronic bag tag numbers for each bag, which is a unique code the airline uses to identify your bags and their movements.
If the worst is to happen
Your airline will do everything they can to get your bags to you as quickly as possible. In order for them to do that, you'll need to create a missing bag report. The easiest way to do that is at your arrivals airport.
How to create a missing bag report:
Follow the below links depending on who you're flying with:
- British Airways
- Swiss Air
- American Airlines
- Virgin Atlantic
- KLM
- Singapore Air
- Edelweiss
- easyJet
- Austrian Air
Once you've got your missing bag report your airline will keep you updated with their progress on reuniting you with your bags.
