It is your responsibility to check your airline baggage allowance, and ensure that you only ask us to check-in bags within your ticketed allowance (if you wish to avoid excess baggage charges).
If you need to increase your bag allowance, your airline will give you the option of purchasing additional hold bags, usually through the ‘Manage Booking’ platform (it is recommended you do this prior to checking-in online).
When we check-in your bags with the airline, the airline will confirm whether or not these are within your allowance. If you’ve asked us to collect and check-in more bags than you’re entitled to, your airline will charge an ‘excess baggage’ fee.
We will pay this fee on your behalf to ensure the check-in process goes smoothly, and this will automatically be recharged to your payment card. Receipts & proof of payment will be sent to you via email.
