Customs authorities may choose to inspect one or more of your bags. In the event that you (or one of your party) is found to be in excess of your Customs allowance, the authorities may apply import charges.
In order to facilitate a seamless delivery of your bags, AirPortr will pay any charges up to a maximum of CHF300 on your behalf, and these charges will then be recouped from your payment card, and the receipt emailed to you. AirPortr does not charge a service fee when this occurs.
In the event that one or more of your bags are requisitioned by Customs, or that the import charges exceed CHF300, AirPortr will contact you and you will need to liaise directly with the Customs Authorities to regain custody of the bag(s) in question.
