What happens if my bags are inspected by the authorities?

Governmental or regulatory bodies such as border control forces, aviation authorities, or police forces may choose to inspect one or more of your bags. Unlocked bags can be examined quickly. Locked bags will be opened if necessary, then resealed. Neither AirPortr nor the inspecting authority are liable for any damages caused to locked bags that must be opened for security or customs purposes.

In the event that the governmental or regulatory bodies choose to requisition your bags for security or immigration purposes, AirPortr will contact you as soon as possible to advise you on how to proceed. AirPortr has no influence on or visibility of which bags are inspected by the authorities.
